Through sound and voice, musician Devon MacGillivray, will be experimenting with looping, mixing and many other fun techniques. Devon will demonstrate and guide you through the vast sound world and by playing together new compositions might arise! This workshop is for children who like to explore making sounds in new and fun ways, no experience required.

Devon MacGillivray is a vocalist, instrumentalist, composer, conductor and facilitator specialising in working with young people. Devon is director and founder of Leitrim Light Orchestra and she currently has the pleasure of directing the new Music Generation Children’s Choir in Carrick-on-Shannon. When Devon is not visiting classrooms on behalf of Music Generation Leitrim Vocal Works programme she can be found facilitating grown-ups who love to sing in workshops for The National Concert Hall’s Music in Mind Programme. Recently, Devon was awarded a primary school artist in residency by the AiE -TAP in partnership with Leitrim Arts Council who also recognised her for her outstanding contribution to the arts in Leitrim 2018.
