Mud Bugs provides nature based, educational workshops for children of all ages. The aim is to connect children with nature in a way that encourages confidence, builds self esteem and promotes a lifelong love of learning and nature.
Join Jessica for a fun-filled workshop for parents and little ones and see what Mud Bugs is all about!
Jessica O’Rourke set up Mud Bugs in 2016 with the vision to get children outside again. We are so busy now that we often forget to take time out in nature and soak up all the goodness that comes with it. Jessica studied Early Childhood Care and Education in Sligo IT, Child Psychology at ATI Psychology Institute and Forest School Training at Southwest Outdoor Group, Devon, UK. She has a huge interest in working with young children and has been a pre-school leader and a childminder over the past 10 years. Jessica’s interest in working with children outdoors stemmed from her own childhood where she spent many days outside for hours on end. Back then, the garden seemed like a never-ending wonderland.
Today, Jessica has taken that interest and turned it into a fun packed session of arts, crafts, adventures and discoveries so all children can enjoy their own wonderland…
