National Drawing Day is a nationwide initiative, coordinated by the National Gallery of Ireland, bringing the opportunity for families and individuals to draw together in an interactive drawing day.

This year artist David Smith will guide you through a day of discoveries, explorations and experiments. Discover a trail of drawing events set up around The Dock for you to explore varied ways to make and think about drawing, unlocking hidden talents in the process. From traditional media to technology and time based interactive events, come and participate in a fun and inspiring National Drawing Day that is open to all.
