Weekend learning basics of using Arduino, an electronics prototyping platform for artists & musicians
This workshop weekend with Ed Devane with will cover the basics of using Arduino, an electronics prototyping platform. Participants will learn how to make MIDI controllers to interface sensors and actuators with software such as Ableton Live. Also covered in the workshop will be various methods of amplifying and processing sound using Ableton Live, speakers, pickups and other items.
This weekend is open to adult participants from cross artform backgrounds and no programming or electronics experience is required.
It is essential that participants bring a modern laptop to be able to run Arduino software and Ableton Live (demo). Links will be sent to participants for downloading closer to start the start date
