St. George's Heritage & Visitor Centre is located in St. Mary's Close in Carrick-on-Shannon. St George’s has been a place of Church of Ireland worship for nearly 200 years. Fully restored for church services its airy interior is lit by the glowing colors of stained glas. It provides a superb venue for concerts and other cultural events.
