[ October 14, 2009 ]

This week sees the return of RíRá Children's Arts Festival to The Dock - its all very busy at the moment with two fantastic shows of SeaShoreShow from Nico and Martin this morning and they are back at 6pm for their Instant Orchestra. Full line up for the rest of the week is on www.thedock.ie/performances/children so be sure to check it out - we will try and get some pictures up as soon as we can. Also just announced - as part of the free Family Fun Day to finish up the festival we have just added Tea and Tales to line-up - In the BackRoom Café Bar, reading from their favourite childhood stories, will be local celebs - Mary Blake, Colin Regan, Charlie McGettigan, Evelyn Kelly and Cathal Roche. Stories will be geared at children from 4 years of age to 12. Interspersed with the story telling will be a literary quiz devised by The Reading Room Book Shop, Bridge Street Carrick on Shannon with a fantastic prize promised to the winners!
