Sligo Races contacted me, giving away a couple of free passes to below mentioned race, and for me to write a piece on it! Wow! I’ll be dragging along Ciara, Front of House Manager, the woman who knows everything about horses, will bring my little Dock Blogger camera and do the whole evening in style… Watch out for my midweek post, in the meantime I’ll be researching all there is to know about horse racing, but drop me a line if you know more than I do anyway!

I can come up with … Bloke at a horse race whispers to Paddy next to him, “Do you want the winner of the next race?” Paddy replies “no tanks, I’ve only got a small garden.” … That’s as good as it gets from my side, but more than likely not near enough to win the jackpot of the night!

Get your body and your friends to Sligo on Tuesday eve if you’re interested, I certainly haven’t been to the races ever yet, but see there is a first for everything!
