Hitch a ride on our journey to anywhere in a show of extraordinary voyages, spaces and characters. Loaded with bags and baggage we trip along the road of landscape and memory.
What have we bundled up? If we carry our world around with us in
a suitcase what do we unpack?
Bring a map and prepare to send postcards from the horizon of your
imagination in this travelogue with a difference. Storytelling with many twists and turns but a good sense of direction, this is a performance for anyone who has ever gone on a journey, left home or tried to create a new one.
Directed by Andy Crook (Articulate Anatomy Theatre Company) with cast Sheila Moylette, Kieron Smith, Geraldine Foy and Ronan Geoghegan and
designed by Avril Lahiff and Paul McDonnell.
Wish I Were Here, is a collaborative theatre piece presented through a partnership between The Dock and IT Sligo Performing Arts Programme for this year’s ABSOLUT Fringe Festival, previewing at The Dock before it opens in Smock Alley Theatre, Dublin on 15th September.
