Writer, actor and producer Sorcha Fox will continue as an artist in residence at The Dock. Sorcha is working on a writing project and will provide one on one mentoring workshops for actors and writers.
Born in Dublin she lives and works near Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim, Sorcha is co-director, with Donal O’Kelly, of Benbo Productions. She directed Donal O’Kelly’s new one man show; Fionnuala – a play about the Shell Corrib Gas Project which won a Fringe First in Edinburgh in 2013 and was nominated for the Amnesty Freedom of Expression Award. In 2014 Sorcha played the part of Molly in Ken Loach’s film – Jimmy’s Hall. She studied Drama and Theatre studies at the Samuel Beckett Centre in Trinity College Dublin.
