Family Lens: Memories Together is a free family workshop at The Dock with artist Anna Leask for Cruinniú na nÓg.
Designed to bring families closer and to create lasting memories, this workshop offers a range of interactive activities centered around the art of photography.
Participants will learn essential photography skills, including composition, lighting, and framing, guided by professional photographer Anna Leask. They will have the opportunity to experiment with different photography techniques, such as portrait, landscape, and studio photography, using their smartphones and digital cameras.
The workshop will feature a dedicated photo shoot studio, providing families with the space to unleash their creativity and capture candid moments. Led by children as the primary photographer within each family, participants will experiment with different backdrops, lighting setups and poses, transforming ordinary scenes into extraordinary memories.
This workshop will encourage a greater appreciation for photography. By providing families with the tools and knowledge to capture meaningful moments together, we hope you will create a cherished memory on the day!

There will be three families per session, so booking is required in advance through the booking link below or via the box office at 071 965 0828. There will be three sessions happening throughout the day: 11-11.40am, 12.30-1.10pm, and 2-2.40pm.
By taking part in this workshop, participants agree for photographs to be used by event organisers, Leitrim County Council and Creative Ireland for documentation and promotional purposes. This event is funded by Creative Ireland through Leitrim County Council.
