The Dock commission gives me invaluable support to spend focused time with my current work. Its an extension of my last solo show titled ''No Borders'', The world through the lens of my thoughts. I am looking the world without geographical borders and want to break the boundaries that creates discrimination between human beings.
My work is symbolic and has multiple meanings, these two new miniature painting will be the map of the planet and highlight the current situation of drastic changes which we are all witnessing as war, earth quake, flood and miserable human condition.
I was born in Pakistan and now living in Ireland and have experienced two cultures. My work is experimental and conceptually highlights the hidden issues in surroundings. My techniques of Indo-Persian miniature painting will be a visual treat for the Irish art circle and critics and shall bring a contemporary approach to this classical method. This commission will help to boost my practice and help to develop new body of work, The materials used shall be the old traditional hand made Vaasli paper and traditional colours.
