Despite the nationwide restrictions on travel and gathering, at The Dock, we decided that we would of course go ahead with celebrating National Drawing Day in as best a way as we could. Like every year, we wanted to encourage all ages to explore all the different possibilities of drawing, and this time, from the comfort of our homes or gardens.

Our education artists David Smith, Anna Leask, and Wayne O'Connor prepared videos for participants, suggesting ideas about what we can all can do to create amazing original drawings.

Using the #NationalDrawingDay tag we asked participants to tag their own creations, should they choose to put their finished work on social media so everyone could see that despite all, we are still being creative and having fun!
