A large scale, collaborative painted work

SOLD OUT !

Explore the rich colours of winter in this collaborative painting project with artist, David Smith. Discover the rewarding process of colour mixing using science, theory and the natural world as our starting point.

Focusing on the subject of colour in landscape and the natural environment, you will learn painting and colour mixing skills as well as working with digital media.

Looking at and learning from artists paintings as well as projects in photography and digital media will form part of the project. You will also be encouraged to find sources in your own local environment. Towards the end of this collaboration, our works will be gathered together to create the components of one large, 100 piece painting installation.

The project consists of 8 x 30 min zoom sessions that you can participate in from the comfort of your own home. The dates are January on Sat 9th & Sat 23rd February on Sat 6th, Sat 13th & Sat 20th and in March on Sat 6th & Sat 20th & Sat 27th.

A small and basic materials list will be forwarded to participating artists prior to workshop
