Month’s Mind was John McDwyer’s first radio play and, when it won the RTE PJ O’Connor Award, it launched him as a playwright who has subsequnetly written several radio plays and ten stage plays including the much loved Leitrim Trilogy of Lovely Leitrim, Callaghan’s Place and Unforgiven.
Now, in association with The Dock, Beezneez Theatre Company present a lockdown production of Month’s Mind.
When Robert Callaghan finds his brother, Stephen. dead in the barn, it is seen, locally, as the end of another Leitrim farm but a chance encounter between Robert and a retired schoolmaster on the morning of Stephen’s Month’s Mind Mass changes the lives of both men.
