Word Corner is a monthly writers community event of people sharing poems, stories, occasionally songs, and whatever words they’ve written or that have caught their eyes and imagination. An informal group with published and first-time writers alike, meeting for over 10 years and founded at The Dock. All are welcome.
From under 12 to over 80, from Galway, Drumshanbo, Mohill and Italy; China, Strokestown, Carrick itself, and all directions beyond. A cast of dozens might come anytime, be it a cosy two or three, or over twenty, reading or simply listening.
Meeting the second Tuesday of every month.
