As part of Invited Guests, artists Anna Spearman, Kian Benson Bailes and Orla McHardy are inviting artists and creatives for an informal pecha kucha morning on Saturday 2 November from 10am—12pm at The Dock.
What is Pecha Kucha?
Pecha Kucha is a format used to share something you’re working on, where each presentation is timed. In this case, we’re allowing 7 minutes per presentation. No feedback is given on the presentations — it's simply a way to get to know people and what they're working on.
We’re inviting artists, musicians, writers, performers to present works/works in progress/current ideas, in an informal and friendly space. There’ll be time for tea, coffee and chats after. We’ll provide a laptop, monitor and speakers on the day. Bring your timed presentation on a USB stick on the day (either a powerpoint, video/audio file, pdf — whatever format suits your work).
Admission is free but booking is required for 10 places.
