The Dock is pleased to launch Virtual Studio Visits for artists working in any medium or experience level.
Through 20-minute virtual sessions, artists can meet with a curator to cover topics ranging from a conversation on your artistic practice, feedback on an upcoming proposal, questions about your career, or museum practice in general.
Virtual Studio Visits are facilitated by Erika Mei Chua Holum, Curator at The Dock, with occasional invited guest curators from across Ireland and abroad. For news or announcements to register for a Virtual Studio Visit with a guest curator, please join our newsletter or visit the Artists page of our website.
Artists based in the Northwest, the North of Ireland, and rural contexts across Ireland are particularly encouraged to register. Appointments will be scheduled for 20 artists during the pilot phase, and additional spaces will be opened in the New Year.
Virtual Studio Visits will not be recorded, but questions and feedback shared by artists will guide and inform review of our Programme and Artists’ Payment Policy and FAQs. Expressions of interest to meet with Erika Mei Chua Holum will open on 23 September 2026.
