A Day of Moving Magic!
Join us this October mid-term for a one-day Mini Animation Festival celebrating the imagination and creativity of young people aged 12 to 16. This exciting event features rarely seen animation short films, and showcases original animated films created by young artists from Leitrim and Roscommon.
Hosted at The Dock from 2 — 4pm on Saturday 25 October, the festival features a vibrant selection of short films made by local youth, brought to life with a live soundtrack performed by young musicians. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that blends visual storytelling with live music and sound.
Come and be inspired by what’s possible when young minds explore animation and music together. Whether you're a budding filmmaker, a curious viewer, or simply looking for something different to do this mid-term, this festival offers a fresh perspective. It's a free event - just bring your curiosity!
Spaces are free but limited, so book now to enjoy an afternoon of bold, imaginative work made by the next generation of animators.
