Gepetto is lonely, so he decides to make himself a son out of wood. He names him Pinocchio, who then magically comes to life.
Barking Dog's two talented actors (with the help of some puppets and children from the audience) present this exciting tale of the little wooden puppet Pinocchio. We follow his adventures as he tries to make money fast, hitches a ride on a parrot, turns into a donkey and gets swallowed by a shark; all while trying to become a "Real Boy".
With original music and audience participation, as well as puppetry and mime, this fun and interactive show supports the primary school curriculum. Story by Carlo Collodi and adapted by Mike Brooks.
