Corban Walker | As Far As I Can See is a multi strand publication artwork that encapsulates the studio practice of artist, Corban Walker from 2000 to the present day.
Published by Oonagh Young, it is a multi-faceted object made in collaboration with several artists including Christian Viveros Fauné, Aisling McCoy, and Caoimhín Mac Giolla Leith.
It is a multi-faceted object made in collaboration with several artists who include: Christian Viveros Fauné, international art critic and curator; Aisling McCoy, architect and photographic artist; Caoimhín Mac Giolla Leith, curator/writer, and finally Oonagh Young, gallerist, graphic designer and publisher. It has no beginning or end; no front or back, the edges are as much the face as the surface is as much a border. Taking the form of a book/object, where the viewer is also a reader and audience, they are invited to scrutinise his art practice from multiple approaches. Together with these respective contributions, it also includes Walker’s observations that have inspired his practice over 22 years, in one form or another.
