'Folk Threads', is a unique, diverse, and versatile folk music show that brings together the ethereal voice of Emer Dunne and her superbly talented musicians. This performance will link the threads of Irish, Scottish, and American folk song and music.

About the Artist
From singing at the Celtic Ball in Rome at the tender age of ten, across Europe and Japan with an Irish dance troop, to the release of her debut folk album 'Hourglass', Emer's voice is now soaring to greater heights.

Hailing from the Midlands in County Laois, in recent times Emer has released two no 1 hit singles from her debut folk album 'Hourglass,' produced by the renowned Bill Shanley (Paul Brady, Gilbert Sullivan, Mary Black). Emer's crystal clear voice & entertaining nature on stage has also led to her successful theatre tours and festival performances across the country in 2022 and 2023.
Emer has many accolades from being approached by the management of Leonard Cohen, praising her version of his famous song, ‘Hallelujah’ to performing for the American and Japanese Ambassadors at their residences.
Steeped in Irish folk music from childhood, combined with voice training from the renowned late Dr Veronica Dunne in the Leinster School of music, she has received apt reviews from far and wide

2023 saw Emer join on the Irish tour with the renowned folk act, The Fureys, to include prestigious venues the INEC/Gleneagle and Vicar Street. She also worked on her own theatre shows with her band and summer festivals, including being selected for 'Forest Fest', sharing the stage with Sharon Shannon, Paul Brady, Stockton's Wing and more.
