The Acorn Players proudly present Loophole — a hilarious comedy in three acts.
Written by John McManus, this play explores modern themes with sharp wit and drama. At its center are two miserable farmers, Paidi and Cass. On the surface, they appear to be the closest of friends — but only time will tell.
When Paidi learns he has only six months to live, he makes the decision to leave his land to Cass. However, his plans quickly unravel with the arrival of his troublesome brother, Rooster, and Kasia, a mysterious lady from Poland. Hopefully the local solicitor, Miss Murphy, will sort things out — with the help of two nosy neighbours, Mairead and Molly.
