As part of Irish Design Week 2023, The Leitrim Design House and Creative Heartlands are delighted to host a talk and networking event ‘Myth and Irish techno-cosmology’. Convened by DCCI, Irish Design Week is a National programme of events that will take place from 13 – 17 November, 2023.
This in-person event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow creatives and hear from these some incredible local and national artists curated by Shane Finan from the ^ Artists Collective. The evening will culminate with a panel discussion with artist Dr. El Putnam and writer Mike McCormack. El and Mike have been collaborating on a new project exploring myth as a storytelling device through contemporary technologies and performance. They will present this work and their past project in open conversation, chaired by Paul O'Neill, co-director of DATA (Dublin Art and Technology Association).
This is a free event, suitable for all ages, however advance booking is required.
