This film is the true story of Charlotte Solomon, a young German Jewish artist who comes of age on the eve of the Second World War and defies incredible odds to create a timeless masterpiece.

Charlotte was a painter who dreamt of becoming an artist, but the world around her was changing quickly, limiting her options and derailing her dream. Believing that only an extraordinary act will save her, she embarks on the monumental adventure of painting her life story.

Charlotte is a stunning animated feature set during WWII that boasts a star-studded, A-List voice cast, which includes Keira Knightley as Charlotte, Brenda Blethyn, Sam Claflin, Eddie Marsan, Mark Strong, Sophie Okonedo, and Helen McCrory - sadly in her last ever film role.
