The Sweet Spirit Country Gospel Singers, under the direction of Tish Dunleavy, will perform a concert in The Dock, Carrick-on-Shannon on Thursday 12 December 2024 at 8pm.
Tish formed the group to bring likeminded people together to enjoy singing and performing songs from varying genres. There will be something for everyone in this show because the programme includes songs recorded by Elvis, Frank Sinatra, the Seekers, The Hopper Gospel Group, George Hamilton 4th, and many more artists. There will even be an aria from Dvořák's opera ‘Rusalka’ called Song to the Moon and, of course, everyone’s favourite Christmas songs will feature too.
The singers who come from Cavan, Roscommon, Longford and Leitrim will present the show in a fun-loving way with audience participation encouraged throughout.
