This 1987 feature film is the last film directed by John Huston, and stars his daughter Anjelica and Donal McCann. Adapted from the short story "The Dead" by James Joyce, it tells the story of Gabriel Conroy and his wife Greta who attend an early January dinner with friends at the home of his spinster aunts, and the resulting epiphany for both of them.
