Julia Moustacchi

The Dock welcomes Julia Moustacchi as our external expert on the open call for Artists' Studios. Julia will assist the team in the selection process for two fully subsidised studios with a seed fund of €1000 per artist.

Julia Moustacchi (b. France) is an arts manager based in Dublin with an independent curatorial practice. She is currently the Programme and Outreach Manager at Fire Station Artists’ Studios and the Interim Curator of The LAB Gallery.

Recently, she co-curated the eco festival Earth Rising at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, 2023/2024. She has actively worked on the development of Visual Thinking Strategies in Dublin, producing the European Project Looking to Understand Inclusion with Dublin City Arts Office (2021-2023).

She was previously Public Engagement Curator for the Dublin City Council initiative, Sculpture Dublin (2020-2022), and co-director of the voluntary arts organisation Basic Space (2019-2023). Julia is a graduate of the MA in Arts Management and Cultural Policy in University College Dublin.
