The Dock is seeking applications from Leitrim-local professional artists working in any artform for two fully subsidised studios from March to November 2024. In addition, we will offer a seed fund of €1000 to each successful applicant along with in-kind support customised to individual needs.
The studios are private working spaces and not open to the general public. They can be accessed Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm except on bank holidays. Each studio is equipped with desk, chair, electrical points, heating, natural and artificial lighting, sink and storage. Please read the application guidelines carefully.

Applications should be emailed to thedockartscentre@gmail.com with the subject heading “Artists’ Studios” in a single PDF document (max. 20MB) including:

1. Cover letter outlining why you would like a studio at The Dock and how you would potentially use the seed fund (up to 500 words)
2. Artist’s biography (up to 250 words)
3. Work statement (up to 250 words)
4. Documentation of previous work (up to 3 examples)

2. CV or résumé
3. Other information you think is important

Deadline
The deadline for submissions is Monday 5 February at 5pm. Late submissions will not be processed.

Applications must be in a single PDF containing all required information. PDFs should not exceed 20MB.
Feedback will not be provided on individual applications.
Applicants can propose shared workspace and/or collaborations. In this case, one artist should submit on behalf of the artists involved and include supporting materials for each artist.
