Fáilte go Céilí Cráiceáilte — our First Fridays late-night event for April!

The Dock has partnered with Leitrim Dance Festival for a community céilí with one mighty big band on Friday 5 April 2024. Join us in Saint Mary’s Hall with Dave Munnelly, Cathy Jordan, Fergal Scahill, Dave Sheridan, Martin Brunsden and Conal O'Keane.

This free Céilí Craiceáilte is for all ages and no previous experience is required. Dances will be called on the night by dance callers Edwina Guckian and Yaelle Azoulay — with some special performances on the night. Everyone is welcome on the floor for a celebration of music, song and dance.

At the half time tea break, the local Country Market women will sell their homemade baking, so bring some change to avail of these treats!

Leitrim Dance Festival promotes engagement with percussive dance and aims to develop a keener understanding of the relationship between dancer and musician where the experience of the dance goes hand in hand with the experience of the music.

First Fridays is a series of events curated by Natalia Beylis & special guests on the first Friday of every month. First Fridays are funded by the Arts Council and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media under the Night Time Economy programme.
